[glow=brown,2,300] Well this is my recipe for that lovely turkey that we all have left after thanksgiving.[/glow] Shred desired amount of turkey into a frying pan, add 2 tbsp. of butter, and about 1/2 cup of diced onions (or to taste).
Fry for 2 to 5 mins, or until heated throughly and onions become tender and slightly carmelized.
Stir in about 3 to 5 tsp. of Teriyaki Sauce and simmer for aproximately 3 minutes.
Add a dash of cajun spice (and/or any other seasonings you might like can be added to taste at this point as well).
Simmer an additional 3 to 5 minutes and serve over rice, potatoes, or in a warm tortilla. [glow=brown,2,300] I Like to call it "G-Monkey's Spicy Turkey"![/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]That is sooooooo yummy. I don't like the cajun spice in it...I prefere garlic powder...but as you said...that's up to pesonal preferance. Salt, garlic, it don't matter, get creative and try things like honey and italian seasoning if you want to...lol
Quick tip to add to the recipe though; if you are going to freeze or already have frozen your turkey, either shred it before you freeze or allow it time to thaw, then shred. Also, be sure to cook all of the water out of it. So put an extra tbsp of butter in and the onion and cook it the same way he said, just a bit longer (until the onions are slightly carmelized and tender).[/glow]
